I loved every city in Morocco but Chefchaouen really stood out. This enchanting blue city stole my heart and I can’t wait to go back! Literally the whole city is painted BLUE!
It would have been incredible to stay a night in Chefchaouen but due to time constraints we opt for a day trip instead. We booked our trip through Viator (~ $100/person) which was more affordable than what was offered through our hotel in Fez. One day was enough to get a feel of the city but 2 days 1 night would have been ideal.
Our driver picked us up early in the morning from Fez and it took us about 3-4 hours to get there. Because this was a day trip we only had ~4 hours to explore the city before we had to head back.
I was debating if this city was worth going to and i have concluded it absolutely is worth the trip. If you happen to be near Fez, take a 1 day tour to witness this place for yourself – you won’t regret it! Not only is it fun walking between in a sea of blue walls, but the people are very friendly and there is so much to see and explore!
