I’m Leanna, a destination enthusiast that was born and raised in Canada. You can find me working on IT projects during the day and planning my next big trip during the weekends!

Growing up, travel was never something I spent too much time thinking about. It wasn’t until I was in my second year of University, struggling and depressed, that my BFF suggested I take a break from school and travel. Initially i thought it was a ridiculous idea, there was no way i could take time off and where would I get the money from? It didn’t take much convincing as I knew i needed a break. I took the next semester off and spent 4 months saving up each paycheque. Before i knew it, my BFF and I booked a one way ticket to Singapore and spent 4 months travelling across Asia. I didn’t know it at the time, but that was the best decision I ever made for myself! That trip spawned my lust for travel and fueled a desire to explore every inch of the globe. I wanted to visit any and all destinations, try their exotic cuisine, meet locals, learn their language and ultimately soak in the culture!

For me, travelling enables me to become a storyteller and share my adventures, learnings, and experiences. It allows me to escape the daily routine and constantly reminds me that life should not be a linear path of what society defines as “success”.
